Get your household items fixed at a repair café

Most people have things around the house that need fixing, but quite often don’t have the time to mend them, and instead might throw them away which can often result in them going to landfill.

Luckily the Repair Café is taking place in Harrogate this Saturday, run entirely by volunteers.

Members of the public can bring everything including clothing, textiles, jewellery, small appliances, furniture, electronics and toys and ornaments. And it’s a regular event that’s held on the third Saturday of every month.

Free, 12-4pm, July 20, Friends Meeting House, 12a Queen Parade, HG1 5PP.
