Professional services group S&W has relocated to Copthall Bridge House office block in the centre of Harrogate.

The firm, which was previously based at Haggs Farm Business Park in Follifoot, specialises in audit, business tax, business outsourcing, personal tax advice and family office.

It was part of wealth management firm Evelyn Partners until this month.

It has about 1,800 employees and more than 120 partners operating from 15 towns and cities in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Managing partner Stuart Wright said:

We are delighted to have moved to a new, larger office in the centre of Harrogate. This announcement builds on our long-standing presence in the town and reflects our commitment to continue investing in the local economy.

The move allows us to accommodate more staff in a modern working environment. It also provides a first-class space for our clients to meet with their advisers, and we are looking forward to hosting seminars in the large events space.

Formerly Smith & Williamson, S&W was founded in 1881. It was launched as a new business last Monday (March 31), following the sale of Evelyn Partners’ professional services business to Apax Partners.
