A major new opinion poll has predicted the Conservatives are on course to win two of the three seats that include parts of the former Harrogate district.
The Survation MRP poll quizzed 42,269 people nationally between May 31 and June 13. It predicts Labour will record a crushing 262-seat majority and the Conservatives will be reduced to just 72 MPs.
Two of those seats include Skipton and Ripon and the new Wetherby and Easingwold constituency, where Julian Smith and Sir Alec Shelbrooke are tipped to win.
But Liberal Democrat Tom Gordon (pictured below) is forecast to defeat Andrew Jones in Harrogate and Knaresborough.
A previous Survation MRP poll in April predicted the Conservatives would lose all three seats. Back then, the Lib Dems and Tories were on 36% and 31% respectively so the gap has fallen from five points to three points.
According to the poll, Labour will have 443 MPs, the Conservatives 83, the Lib Dems 53, the SNP 34, Reform UK 12, the Greens three and Plaid Cymru two.
Here are the forecasts for the three local constituencies.
