The Harrogate district is braced for strong winds tomorrow as Storm Lillian is set to hit.
Some attractions have announced they will close in preparation for the adverse weather.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind between 5am and 11am tomorrow (August 23), which is set to impact the entire district.
Winds are expected to reach 56mph in Harrogate and Boroughbridge, 57mph Ripon and Knaresborough, and 58mph in Pateley Bridge and Masham.
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal today said the whole estate will close tomorrow.
The National Trust site said the decision was made “for the safety of visitors”.
The park is expected to re-open on Saturday, but visitors are advised to check online beforehand.

RHS Garden Harlow Carr has also made changes to its opening hours ahead of the storm and will be closed until midday tomorrow.
Mother Shipton's Cave, in Knaresborough, announced it would delay opening until 11.10am today due to the high winds.
The Met Office has warned that the strong winds may lead to local transport disruption, damage to buildings and potential powercuts.
