Nôsa is taking over a unit on Albert Street.

A bathroom retailer is set to open its first bricks and mortar showroom in Harrogate.

Nôsa, launched by parent company Leader Group last year, markets itself as a luxury bathroom brand with a European-inspired style.

After operating solely online, a unit on Albert Street in Harrogate will become home to Nôsa’s first physical store.

A spokesperson for the company told the Stray Ferret Harrogate was chosen due to its “strong appreciation for design and interiors”. They added:

The local retail landscape is aligned with our aesthetic and value, and we believe Harrogate is a destination town where customers will happily travel for a weekend visit. This will be our first physical showroom, marking an exciting new chapter for us.

The spokesperson said customers can expect an “immersive experience” at the new showroom, which will sell baths, showers, vanity units, taps, mirrors and toilets.

“Everything is designed with complete transparency – there are no hidden costs. While we are a luxury brand, we believe in making exceptional design accessible”, they added.

The Harrogate showroom is expected to open at the end of September but an official date has not yet been set.

When the Stray Ferret asked Nôsa what sets it apart from local competitors, the spokesperson told us:

What truly sets us apart is a combination of luxury, craftsmanship and integrity. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service, as reflected in our customer feedback and Trustpilot reviews. As a primarily online retailer, our decision to open physical showrooms adds a new dimension of trust and tangibility that many online-only bathroom retailers can’t offer.

The new showroom is expected to create between four and six new jobs locally, but Nôsa said it hopes to eventually relocate its sales team to Harrogate.

The site will open daily but Sunday trading hours will be reviewed based on demand and footfall.
