A firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, which has an office in Harrogate, is set to expand into Leeds later this year.
Saffery currently employs more than 70 people in Yorkshire and has had an office in Harrogate since 1992.
The company today said its new Wellington Place office sits "in the heart of Leeds city centre’s financial and professional services district".
The office will house all Saffery’s Yorkshire services, which include audit and accounting, corporate tax and VAT, business advisory and personal tax.
Saffery partner and head of the firm’s Yorkshire office, Jonathan Davis, said:
For the last 32 years we’ve worked hard to establish a strong reputation in Harrogate and North Yorkshire, and we are proud of that heritage, whilst being firmly focused on the future.
During this time, we’ve also successfully built up a quality client base in Leeds and across the wider Yorkshire region.
Our clients want to work with an independent firm, that’s boutique in style and that focuses on achieving their aims with real expertise and a true commitment to relationships. We remain local in nature and style, but with the backing of a wider national and international support network when required.
Steve Sexton CEO of Techbuyer
Harrogate based provider of IT solutions, Techbuyer, has been announced as one of the newest members of the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance.
The alliance works alongside the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), to help inform government on sustainable IT best practice.
Their place on the alliance allows the company to advise on sustainable development for IT infrastructure within government and explore circularity for the IT sector more fully.
Techbuyer’s CEO, Steve Sexton, said:
Techbuyer has been and continues to be passionate about sustainability best practice. As leading refurbished Information Technology experts our success in ensuring digital sustainability lies deeply with the partnerships and relationships that we hold.
Being invited to become a GDSA member allows Techbuyer to work closely with many like-minded organisations, collectively problem solving through government led collaborations.
Techbuyer is very excited to add value, by helping identify risks and opportunities within current policies to ensure that ultimately all digital waste is minimised as much as possible.
