The boss of Drakes fish and chips restaurant in Knaresborough has spoken about the closure of the business.
Drakes chip shops operated in Knaresborough, Ripon and Starbeck for 25 years. There are further sites in Leeds, Shipley, Bradford and York.
The Starbeck location closed last year. Last week the Knaresborough and Ripon sites have also ceased trading.

The restaurant on Silver Street in Knaresborough displayed a sign in the windows saying “closed until further notice” after its doors shut.
Jaime Wilkinson, who ran the site, said:
It is with a heavy heart that, after 25 years of proudly serving the local community with fresh fish and chips, we are being forced to cease trading with immediate effect. This has not been an easy decision, but in the past few years, our costs have risen at an exponential rate, and we have largely absorbed the costs whenever possible.
Mr Wilkinson claimed the landlord had imposed rents that "far exceed fair market levels", adding: "We are so sorry to our staff, our loyal customers and friends."
