A motorist was left seriously injured in a crash near Harrogate last month.
North Yorkshire Police today (May 15) said the incident happened on the A658 near Leathley at around 3.30pm on April 21.
It involved a white Ford Transit flatbed and a dark-coloured Kia.
Today’s statement said the driver of the Kia was taken to hospital and treated for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, but he has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage:
We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the white Ford Transit prior to the collision as it travelled towards Pool on the A658, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
Please email neil.sisson@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help. Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for PS Neil Sisson.
