A man has been accused of stealing money from his workplace at Harrogate District Hospital.
James Chambers, 47, appeared at York Magistrates Court on Saturday (January 24) charged with one offence of theft by employee.
According to court documents, Mr Chambers stole £990 in cash from WHSmith at the Lancaster Park Road hospital.
He was an employee at the time of the alleged offence, which is said to have taken place between October 11 and 14, 2024.
The case was adjourned until March 12, when Mr Chambers, of Oyster Catcher Place in York, is expected to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court.
