A convenience store looks set to open at Harrogate train station.
The shop will operate in the unit formerly occupied by Bookstall newsagents, which closed after 30 years in 2020.
The unit has remained vacant for four years since the loss of the newsagents, which was renowned for its wide variety of magazines.
Superstop Convenience Store will sell sweets, drinks, food, tobacco and mobile accessories.
It is currently being refitted and the shutters were closed early this morning.
Station staff said the new business was expected to open on Tuesday December 10.
The Stray Ferret has attempted to contact the owner of the new shop but has so far not had a response.
