A total of 775 runners completed yesterday's Jolly Holly Jog near Ripon.
Organised by Ripon Runners each year, the 10 kilometre race enables people to burn off some excess festive calories on a scenic multi-terrain route.
It starts and finishes at Hell Wath nature reserve but most of the course is around Studley Royal Deer Park.
Jack Simpson, an unaffiliated athlete, finished first in 33 minutes and 53 seconds.
Luke Shacklock, of Harrogate Harriers, was the fastest local runner, finishing seventh in 37.23. Tenth placed Jamie Baker was the leading athlete from host club Ripon Runners.
Becky Penty, of York Knavesmire Harriers, was the first female in 39.32.
The leading affiliated local female runner was Nidderdale Fell and Trail's Meriel White in 48.15.
The event raised funds for the Ripon branch of the Salvation Army, which operates a foodbank close to where the run starts and finishes.
Here are some photos of the event.
