An 11-year-old girl suffered head and leg injuries after she was hit in a collision on Harrogate's Parliament Street.
Police closed the road outside Bettys this morning (January 20) after the incident happened at 7.51am.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were in attendance.
A statement from the force said the collision involved a blue BMW car and the girl was taken to hospital for treatment.
Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
A force statement added:
The girl suffered head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road reopened at 9.18am.
