Glide into the festive season at Harrogate’s ice rink and Christmas Funland

One of Harrogate’s most popular Christmas attractions is back for 2024 - but better get your skates on, because tickets are selling fast.

Between Saturday, December 14 to Tuesday, December 24, the Yorkshire Event Centre will be transformed into an indoor winter wonderland, complete with an ice rink, funfair rides and a meet and greet with Santa.

Crow Leisure Group’s Santa’s Christmas Funland is running three sessions a day, so visitors can enjoy three hours of festive fun to keep the whole family entertained.

For those who love action and adventure, there’s the giant ice rink, crazy golf and classic fairground games with a Christmas twist.

If you’re a thrill-seeker, take a ride on the Elf Spinners, Snow Dome and Santa’s Sleigh Rollercoaster – and there’s even alternatives for mini daredevils to enjoy too.  

You'll also be able to the elves solve the mystery of the missing naughty and nice list at the pantomime show. Don't forget to watch out for the mischevious Yorkshire Grinch who'll also be at the event, no doubt pulling some festive pranks.

Top it all off with a special visit to Santa, where children can meet the man himself, and receive a special Christmas gift. 

Prices have been slashed from £34.50 to £27.60 per person for a peak time ticket - children under three are now priced at £8 - and £19.60 per person for an off-peak ticket, with a special 20 percent discount currently being offer on Crow Leisure Group's for all available dates.

Tickets include access to all attractions and experiences - including a free gift from Santa for children – excluding games stalls and food and drink. Booking in advance is recommended, to avoid disappointment.

Alex Crow, director of Crow Leisure Group said:

We're very excited to be bringing this to the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate this Christmas time.

The concept behind the event was to be able to have everything under one roof, so unpredictable weather can't cancel any plans - and disappoint any children during the festive season.

It offers a truly magical experience in one location - ice skating, rides, meet and greet with Santa - so that parents aren't run ragged at the busiest time of the year, trying to attend many different events.

Everything is included in the ticket price, with the only optional extras being the game stalls and any food or drinks inside the venue.
