A new boutique selling handmade luxury bags is to open in Harrogate next month.
Belinda's Boutique will occupy the premises vacated by jeweller RE Smith on Station Parade and open in early August.
For the last two years, business owner Belinda Clouds has been selling her creations at artisan markets across North Yorkshire and through social media and her website.
She said:
Opening a boutique has always been a dream of mine.
While selling online and at artisan markets has been wonderful, I wanted to create a space where customers can see, touch and experience the quality of my handmade bags in person.
I also wanted to offer a carefully curated collection of gifts, cosmetics, make-up and jewellery pouches, alongside other beautiful accessories that people can browse and enjoy.

Ms Clouds started making her own bags two years ago, from fabrics including velvet, silk, and cotton, which she sources from around the country.
She added:
I hope the boutique will contribute to the vibrancy of Harrogate’s town centre.
Independent businesses bring character to our high streets, and I’m proud to be part of that.
My aim is to create a friendly, welcoming space that encourages people to shop locally, supports the local economy and offers something a little different from the larger retailers.
The unit's former occupant, jewellery business RE Smith, closed in 2020 and the unit was auctioned off in March.
