    Happy Mondays and Soul II Soul announced as local festival headliners

    The Happy Mondays and Soul II Soul will headline a new festival at Harewood House next year.

    The country house, between Harrogate and Leeds, will host the Goodlife Festival on Saturday, June 28.

    Organisers say the event will be “a celebration of world-class music, gourmet street food, and unforgettable festival experiences”.

    Besides 90s British band Happy Mondays and R&B pioneers Soul II Soul, the event will also feature Grammy-winning DJ and producer David Morales, DJ duo Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, house music legend Todd Terry and DJ Greg Wilson.

    Tickets for the festival, which include VIP options, will go on sale on November 29.
