The new store on Oxford Street and owner Tracey Brown.

A Harrogate health store is relocating – just around the corner.

The Harrogate Health Shop, formerly known as Quality Health Foods, is leaving its Westminster Arcade unit where it has traded for more than 40 years.

But the shop won’t be going far, as its new home is on Oxford Street.

Owner Tracey Brown, who took over the business from Linda LeFloch, told the Stray Ferret Oxford Street “offers great visibility and accessibility”.

“While the arcade has a lot of charm, many people simply don’t realise what’s there”, she added.

Ms Brown, a qualified medical herbalist, said the Westminster Arcade store will continue trading until the move, which is expected to be towards the end of April.

What can customers expect from the Oxford Street store? She said:

The new space will allow us to expand what we offer.

Alongside our carefully selected range of high-quality supplements, herbal remedies, skincare and natural products, we will also introduce educational workshops on nutrition and wellbeing, a herbal medicine and complementary therapy consultation space, and a more spacious, welcoming environment.

Ms Brown also told the Stray Ferret she will be looking for local suppliers to stock their ranges in the new shop.

The Oxford Street store will open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am until 4.30pm, initially, she said.
