An industrial unit in Harrogate is to be demolished to make way for new storage and distribution sheds.
A planning application for the scheme in the former Dalesgate Exhibitions site on Claro Road was lodged in January and approved with conditions yesterday (Monday, November 2).
No objections were raised during the consultation period against the plans, which were submitted by Mathew Houldsworth, of Otley-based real estate company Amy Mathews Ltd.
The new buildings have been designed by James Robinson of JC Robinson Ltd, an architectural design firm based at Low Laithe in Nidderdale, and will comprise a two-storey office block and a large distribution shed with four loading bays.
Dalesgate Exhibitions, which formerly occupied the site, went into liquidation in June 2023 and was finally dissolved in May this year.
