A Harrogate man has been accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a woman.
Steven Lamb, 36, appeared at York Magistrates Court yesterday (December 15) charged with two offences: wound or inflict grievous bodily harm without intent and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Mr Lamb is said to have caused grievous bodily harm to a named woman on December 12.
The defendant, of Mayfield Grove, is also alleged to have damaged various household items belonging to the woman on the same day.
Both offences are alleged to have occurred in Ripon.
The case was transferred to York Crown Court, where Mr Lamb is expected to enter pleas on January 19.
