Harrogate man charged with rape
A Harrogate man has been charged with rape.
Ethan Platt, 22, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (July 9) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Mr Platt, of St Andrews Walk, was charged with rape of a woman 16 years or over under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The alleged offence took place between October 11, 2024, and October 14, 2024.
Magistrates referred the case to York Crown Court, where Mr Platt will appear on August 3, 2026.
