A Harrogate man who has denied threatening a woman with a knife will face trial this year.
Maxi Franks, of Redfearn Mews, pleaded not guilty to two charges at York Crown Court on Monday (January 6).
Mr Franks denied intentionally strangling a named woman on November 6, 2022.
Court documents also allege he threatened a woman with a blade, namely a knife, in a public place on the same day. Mr Franks denied this charge.
But the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to damaging a woman’s door on November 6, 2022, causing damage valued under £5,000.
A trial date has been set for August 26, 2025, at York Crown Court.
