An independent Harrogate micropub has been put up for sale.
The Disappearing Chin, on Beulah Street, opened in 2019 and has since served a range of craft beers, cocktails and wines to the town.
Owner Jack Woodruff told the Stray Ferret he plans a career change and that the pub remained open as normal for the time being.
He said:
I have decided after around 10 years in hospitality I would like to have a change in career, and to have more evenings and weekends free to focus on my family.
The Disappearing Chin has been listed with commercial property firm Sidney Phillips at a price of £45,000.
The listing on businessesforsale.com says the site is in “excellent condition” and generates a net turnover of around £140,000 per year.
The pub is described as a “lock-up pub in a retail district”, with “potential for additional trade area”.
But Mr Woodruff told the Stray Ferret he “cannot stress enough” that The Disappearing Chin will continue to operate as normal while still under his ownership.
