Harrogate Town drawn against Leeds United in FA Cup

Harrogate Town will head to Leeds United in the FA Cup third round.

Town will travel to Elland Road on the weekend of January 11.

It comes at Harrogate booked their place in the third round after defeating Gainsborough Trinity 1-0 on Friday.

More than 4,000 attemded the match which saw Town reach the third round for the first time since 2021/22.

Leeds currently sit third in the EFL Championship and are vying for promotion to the Premier League.

United last visited the Exercise Stadium in pre-season, where they defeated Town 3-0.

Goals from Junior Firpo in the first half and record signing Georginio Rutter and Sam Chambers in the second rounded off a comprehensive display.
