Harrogate’s new Lego trail revealed: Dinky dinosaurs coming in summer
Harrogate BID has announced the new annual Lego Trail.
With ‘Dinky Dinosaurs’ as this year’s theme, visitors will spot a series of prehistoric Lego dinosaur models displayed in shop windows and businesses in the Harrogate town centre, launched on Saturday, August 1.
Fully funded by Harrogate BID and sponsored by the Crown Hotel, the event aims to boost the local economy every year by encouraging local residents and visitors to discover Harrogate’s mix of shops, dining places, and leisure spots.
Harrogate BID operations manager Bethany Allen said the trail was one of the highlights of the local events calendar and was always well received by families, businesses and visitors. She added:
The trail is a brilliant way to encourage people to explore different areas of the town centre, discover our amazing businesses and create a fun experience for all ages.
This year's Dinky Dinosaurs theme is set to bring something different to Harrogate, and we can't wait for everyone to see the fantastic models when they arrive.

Dan Siddle, general manager of the Crown Hotel, said:
We're delighted to once again support the Harrogate Lego Trail and help bring another fantastic family attraction to the town centre.

Harrogate BID is once again partnering with the charity group Fairy Bricks to build the Lego Trail.
The charity builds unique Lego models and distributes Lego sets to children in hospital, offering moments of joy and creativity to help them go through tough times.
Ms Allen from Harrogate BID added:
We're proud to continue working with Fairy Bricks and support the incredible work they do.
The Lego Trail allows us to bring their amazing creations into the heart of Harrogate while highlighting the positive impact the charity has on children and families.
Specific locations for the dinosaur models will be released by Harrogate BID in the coming weeks.
