A new television series showcasing one of North Yorkshire’s most exclusive hotels is set to hit screens next week.

The four-part series, named Yorkshire’s Poshest Hotels: Grantley Hall, will offer viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the five-star hotel near Ripon.

The programme follows the day-to-day running of the estate, from its hospitality and fine dining to the staff who keep the venue operating.

Set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Grantley Hall has become one of the region’s most prestigious hospitality venues since opening as a hotel in 2019. The historic estate features 47 rooms and suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and an award-winning spa.

The new series aims to highlight both the glamour and the graft behind running a top-tier hotel, giving viewers insight into the expectations of affluent guests and the pressures faced by staff in delivering a luxury experience.

The first episode of Yorkshire’s Poshest Hotels: Grantley Hall airs Thursday, March 26 at 8pm on Channel 5.
