Leeds Bradford Airport has announced direct flights to two Egyptian airports.
The local airport today (December 3) confirmed Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate “year-round weekly services” to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada from February 2027.
A spokesperson for Leeds Bradford Airport told the Stray Ferret no other airlines currently operate flights between Leeds Braford and Egypt, but Jet2 is reviving its Leeds Bradford-Sharm El-Sheikh service, which was terminated around a decade ago.
The new flights will be the first to operate between Leeds Bradford Airport and Hurghada.
Flights between Leeds Bradford Airport and Hurghada will run on Sundays from Feburary 14. The weekly service to Sharm El-Sheikh will operate on Saturdays from February 13.
