A Harrogate man has denied causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
Christopher Spittal, 45, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday (December 4).
Mr Spittal is accused of driving without due care and attention on North Park Road in Harrogate when his vehicle hit Judith Ross on November 13, 2023.
Ms Ross, 76, died the following day, the court was told.
The defendant, whose address is listed as Kingsley Close, chose for his trial be heard in front of a jury and the case was transferred to York Crown Court.
Mr Spittal was released on bail and is due to appear at York Crown Court on February 12.
