A man is due in court after a van got stuck on the level crossing at Knaresborough railway station last year.
Jody Lovatt, 49, is charged with endangering safety and driving a Vauxhall Combi van without due care and attention on Kirkgate.
Both offences are said to have happened on July 10 last year, when a van rolled down Kirkgate, collided with a signal box and got stuck on the level crossing.
Mr Lovatt, of Mowbray Crescent in Kirkby Malzeard, is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court tomorrow (January 15).
Nine train services were fully cancelled, 14 were partially cancelled and 11 were delayed due to the incident at the time.
