A Masham man has appeared in court charged with affray today.
Adam Snowdon, of Market Place, pleaded guilty to the charge at York Crown Court on Monday (January 13).
Court documents say the 33-year-old defendant used or threatened violence on Little Market Place in Masham on December 20 last year.
Snowdon’s conduct would have caused someone present to fear for their safety, the document adds.
He first appeared at York Magistrates Court accused of the offence on December 23.
Snowdon has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at York Crown Court on February 4.
