Starbeck level crossing has reopened following a barrier fault.
Network Rail told the Stray Ferret a fault with the barrier was reported at 2.25pm yesterday (March 25).
The barriers remained shut until just after 5.30pm, once repairs were complete.
A Network Rail spokesperson attributed the fault to an "issue with the pedestal, which has been replaced".
Starbeck postmaster Andrew Hart told the Stray Ferret at the time:
"Buses are being diverted via Wetherby Road. Starbeck dead as is trade on Starbeck High Street. Royal Mail and courier collections from Starbeck Post Office are impossible".
We will provide any updates when they become available.
