The proposal, which has been tabled to North Yorkshire Council by Chris Farley, will see the homes built near to Waterside car park in the town.

According to planning documents, three, three-bedroom properties would be built with an open court yard.

The dwellings would be market properties and include car parking. An electric vehicle charging point would be provided for the site, documents added,

The developer said that the site is currently vacant land, which could be utilised for more housing.
