The latest addition to Harrogate’s nightlife scene will open in just a few weeks’ time.

Wicked Wolf, which has taken on the unit formerly occupied by the Potting Shed on Montpellier Gardens, will open its doors on Friday, December 6.

The site has be vacant for around five years.

Alongside cocktails and drinks, the bar will serve food including loaded fries and smash burgers.

It is also set to include a karaoke room, VIP booths and separate rooms each playing different music.

There will be a DJ every Friday and Saturday, and saxophonist Ellie Sax will perform on the opening night.

In a social media video posted last month, a spokesperson for Wicked Wolf named Lilly said the site will also include a rainforest-themed area, which she suggested is “perfect for Instagram pictures”.

Lilly also gave viewers a sneak peak at the venue's transformation.

The company was granted permission to serve alcohol at the town centre site until 3am earlier this year.
