Police constable accused of having sex with woman despite being warned of her past relationships with officers
A former North Yorkshire Police officer is to face a gross misconduct hearing after allegedly entering into an “inappropriate and sexual relationship” with a woman despite being warned about interactions with her.
PC Callum Storr, who was based in York, will face a hearing in Northallerton after it is alleged he breached the force’s standards of behaviour.
It is alleged that PC Storr began a sexual relationship with a woman referred to as Ms A between February 9, 2022, and February 11, 2022.
A notice on the force’s website said this occurred despite PC Storr being part of a briefing on November 24, 2021, where officers were warned about interactions with the woman due to her history of relationships with police officers.
The notice adds:
Later, on 24 November 2021, whilst on duty you attended at the home address of Ms A following a report of domestic abuse.
In February 2022 contact was made between you and Ms A.
The notice adds that the officer went on to contact Ms A via social media, messages and telephone, met with her and then had sex with her.
PC Storr is accused of breaching the force's standards of professional behaviour, including discreditable conduct and authority, respect and courtesy.
Meanwhile, the officer is also accused of saving two inappropriate images on his phone from a WhatsApp group called “Big Rose Stag Do”.
It is alleged that, between October 17 and 18, 2018, that PC Storr had “inappropriate (category 5) images" on his mobile phone which were accessible to him while he was a serving police officer.
The force said the allegation breached the standards of professional behaviour, including discreditable conduct.
The misconduct hearing will be held from September 7 to September 9, 2026, at North Yorkshire Police headquarters in Northallerton. Members of the public can attend.
