North Yorkshire Police has published CCTV images of a man it wants to speak to regarding a robbery in Knaresborough.
According to a police statement, a man armed with a knife robbed Asda Express petrol station, on Wetherby Road on Thursday night.
He jumped over the tills just before 11pm and stole tobacco and cash, which he put in a shopping bag and told three members of staff to “lie on the ground”.
He then left and headed down Manse Lane.
Nobody was injured but police described the incident as "very concerning".
The suspect is described as having a slim build. He was wearing a large ‘puffa style’ high-vis jacket with a navy blue sweatshirt underneath, dark jeans, a dark-coloured beanie hat, dark-coloured work boots, gloves and a white mask over his face.
