North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information to find a man who indecently exposed himself in Harrogate.
In a statement today, the force said a woman who was walking at The Oval saw a man standing in one of the hedge openings “naked and engaging in a sexual act”.
The incident happened on Wednesday, December 3 at about 7.45pm.
The statement added:
“He did not speak to or approach the woman, who immediately sought help and contacted police.
"The suspect is described as a white man, aged 30s to 40s with possibly dark hair or wearing a hat.
"We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, or who may have CCTV, doorbell footage, or dash-cam recordings, to come forward."
