Reform UK has formed a new constituency branch for Wetherby and Easingwold.
The right-wing party achieved 14% of the vote at the election and secured five MPs.
Afterwards, Reform UK chairman Zia Yusuf pledged to set up branches nationwide after party leader Nigel Farage revealed plans to professionalise the organisation.
Mike Jordan, who represents Camblesforth & Carltona on North Yorkshire and was Reform UK's parliamentary candidate for Wetherby and Easingwold at this year's general election, was asked to convene a meeting to establish the branch.
Mr Jordan has taken on the role of chairman. A treasurer, secretary and campaign manager have also been appointed.

Mr Jordan said:
This has involved a group of like-minded individuals getting together to form this committee. I am very honoured to have been asked to be chairman.
For the party this is a big step forward for a better organisation, and better communication between all the groups.
Locally it will help us to pull our supporters together, and nationally it will develop a more consistent, and unified party that will be more appealing and accessible.
This is part of a package of measures taken by the party to help build support for the future of this country - people can expect to see more changes over the coming months.
Regular public meetings will be held in Boroughbridge from next month, the branch added.
Reform has also created a branch in Harrogate and Knaresborough following a meeting this month.
Former chartered engineer Jonathan Swales, who finished third in the constituency behind the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives at the general election in July, has been appointed chairman.
The branch has also set up a website.
