A Ripon man has admitted making indecent photographs of children.
Craig Brigantes, 53, of Lickley Street, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (July 30) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Brigantes admitted making five category A images — which is the most serious kind — on April 20, 2017.
The 53-year-old also pleaded guilty to making four category B images and 130 category C images between April 19, 2017, and October 9, 2022.
Brian Nuttney, defending, said Brigantes had no previous convictions and was of previous good character.
Mr Nuttney requested that the case be adjourned for a full pre-sentence report to be produced.
Magistrates adjourned the case for a sentencing hearing on September 25, 2026.
