Samson Fox's great-granddaughter brings Elvis to Harrogate
The great-granddaughter of Samson Fox is bringing an Elvis tribute show to Harrogate.
The Royal Hall, which Samson Fox founded in 1903, will host A Vision of Elvis on Friday, October 2.
Knaresborough-based talent coordinator Lucy Fox, secured the booking.
The production stars Rob Kingsley, who has preformed worldwide as Elvis.
The Spectator magazine described his vocal resemblance to Elvis as 'uncanny'.
Kingsley will be supported by backing singers from Birmingham Gospel Choir.
Samson Fox was the main benefactor behind the opening of the Royal Hall, originally known as The Kursall, in 1903.
The former Harrogate mayor and industrialist died the same year.
Tickets for the show start at £31.
