Three separate thefts from cars were reported on the same night in Harrogate this week.
North Yorkshire Police today said thefts occurred on Cheltenham Crescent, Pine Street and Lime Street overnight between September 3 to 4.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the thefts, or noticed anything suspicious, to contact them of 101.

Officers also posted tips on how to prevent thieves from breaking into cars.
On the North Yorkshire Community Messaging service, the force advised people to always lock cars and close any windows or a sunroof.
Secure number plates using tamper-resistant screws; use a locking wheel nut and ensure anything on the outside of vehicles, such as roof-racks, are locked, police also said.
