The countdown is now on for the Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025, sponsored by Prosperis, and we're taking the opportunity to celebrate the fantastic finalists, shortlisted across each of the 10 categories.

Tickets are now available to buy for the glittering black tie event, which will take place at The Pavilions in Harrogate on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Let's meet and find out more about the finalists for Best Use of Digital, sponsored by Xi Communications.

Cloud Nine

Established in 2009, CLOUD NINE invents and sells heated styling tools with luxury accessories, such as straighters, dryers, and heated brushes.

This year, it launched its Temperature Calculator, a 'revolutionary' hair education tool that asks customers a series of questions, and then informs them the temperature they should be styling at, giving them a set of personalised product recommendations and advice.

The technology has been successfully integrated with multiple platforms, boosting revenue and help to inform future strategy and growth plans.

IDR Law

Priding itself on being one the UK's 'only inheritance dispute law firms', IDR Law was founded in 2017 by Martin Holdsworth, with the sole purpose of helping families find a resolution to their unwanted inheritance disputes.

Using the team's specialist knowledge, IDR Law developed innovative legal tech products including its Claim Checker. This allows potential claimants to fill out a form and recieve an immediate answer on whether they have the legal standing to make a claim, using expert information.

The product has been since harnessed by third parties, and since its launch an average of 27 percent of enquiries have come directly from the embedded Claim Checkers.

Live For Today

Live For Today is an adventure company, with three activity centres, a climbing centre, and many more offsite adventures offered across Yorkshire.

This year, the company has undergone a digital overhaul, embracing digital innovation to transform business operations and enhance customer experiences.

This includes updating its website to a more sophisticated JavaScript web app, revamping social media channels, introducing an website events section to enable customers to book upcoming events easily, and streamlining internal workflow systems.

Show+Tell

Based in the heart of Harrogate, digital design agency Show+Tell underwent a major brand repositioning in 2024 to differentiate itself in a competitive market.
