Suspected drug dealer arrested after police chase in Harrogate
A suspected drug dealer has been arrested following a police chase in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police said officers were on patrol in the early hours of this morning (August 28) when they saw a man dressed in dark clothing who made off as they approached.
After a search of the area, they spotted him again on Hookstone Chase and he ran off — but was later caught and detained by pursuing officers.
The man was arrested and found with a large amount of suspected class A drugs, cannabis and cash.
A police statement said a 21-year-old man was taken into custody, where he remains while force enquiries continue.
