For carers, Christmas is another working day.

But what is it like to work the big day and why do some people choose to do it?

The Stray Ferret interviewed three carers in the Harrogate area to find out.

We support the residents to get up and wish them a Merry Christmas. We have a festive breakfast together and then relax, open presents and have a hot drink and mince pie.

We have Christmas lunch and then have an afternoon of activities and games before a buffet tea and some Christmas television before bed.

How do you celebrate Christmas at work?

Lots of Christmas themed activities with residents and colleagues.
