If your business is based in the Harrogate district and has a good story to tell, we want to hear about it.
On March 13, the Stray Ferret Business Awards will recognise the brightest and best of the region’s business talent at a glittering black-tie event in the Pavilions of Harrogate, and if you think your business fits the description, we want you to be there to share it with our 350 guests.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025 are open to businesses in all sectors across the Harrogate district, including Ripon, Masham, Boroughbridge, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Nidderdale, and the surrounding areas.
The judging panel this year is led by Niall Gunn, CEO of leading local financial advisers Prosperis, which is once again the awards' headline sponsor.
Joining him on the panel is company director Fiona Movley, who is also Chair of Harrogate International Festivals and the first ever female president of the Harrogate Club.
We are proud to announce that the other two confirmed members of the panel are both previous Stray Ferret Business Awards winners.
Zara Jackson has led her company, Network Scientific, to be a major force in UK scientific recruitment, which last year won our Inclusivity Award.
Andy Makin is managing director of EnviroVent, which is now a market leader in sustainable ventilation products, and in 2023 won our Sustainable Business (large business) award.
In addition to the companies named above that have sponsored individual awards, we're absolutely delighted that LCF Law is back once again to sponsor our Winners' Lounge on the night.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards put companies and individuals in a very exclusive club, and tell the world that the winners are really something special.
After collecting one last year, James Rycroft, CEO of Vida Healthcare, said:
Winning Large Business of the Year was an honour and a privilege. We are grateful to all the judges for recognising Vida Healthcare, which gave our workforce a real boost.
The Stray Ferret brings the community together with these awards.
There are nine award categories and businesses may enter as many as they like. Entry is free of charge.
We will profile all the winners after the event, so taking time to enter now could be well worth the effort!
You can find all the information you need on our Awards page. Entries close at midnight on Wednesday, January 8.
