Martin House Glitter Ball

Children's Hospice Martin House has just released tickets for its annual charity fundraiser, the Glitter Ball, this Autumn.

This year, the Haribo-sponsored event is in support of the hospice's £21.9 million plan, the Build, to extend and refurbish the hospice.

Martin House cares for teenagers and young people, providing services ranging from symptom control to emergency and end-of-life care.

It also offers bereavement support to families who have lost children. To keep costs free for the involved families, the hospice is reliant on voluntary donations and funds raised by events like this.

The work carried out at the hospice costs around £9 million annually.

This year, the black-tie event is being held at Rudding Park Hotel and will include a champagne reception, three-course meal, live and online auctions, and a live band.

Maddie Massey, events manager at Martin House, said:

The Glitter Ball is our single biggest fundraising event of the year and as this year the money raised will help us complete the Build, we're hoping this year's event will be even more successful.

Martin House's Glitter Ball will be held on October 11, 2024.

Tickets are on sale now, for £120 each, with tables of up to 12 people available. They are available at www.martinhouse.org.uk/GlitterBall.
