Tickets have sold out for two of the four days of this year’s Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.

With the show little more than a week away, all tickets have been snapped up for Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11.

Tickets are still available for the opening day, Tuesday July 9 and the final day, Friday, July 12.

Prior to this year, the event at the Great Yorkshire Showground has completely sold out by the week before the show every year since 2021, which is when it moved to a four-day, advance purchase-only event.

Countryfile presenters Helen Skelton and Adam Henson and Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright are among the visitors this year.

A new addition to the lineup for the 2024 show will see a trio of local breweries showcasing some of the area's best beer.

Harrogate Brew Co., Turning Point Brew Co. and Daleside — three breweries within a three-mile radius of the showground - will have their own craft beer bar called The Farmer’s Return in the food hall which will provide a varied selection of around 10 craft beers including pale ales and craft lagers.

This year’s show also includes the Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show, the Battle of the Butchers, and a methane-powered tractor from Russells farm machinery.

No royal visit has not been announced yet.

This will be show director Charles Mills’ final show after a nine-year tenure.

Adult tickets cost £35, compared with £32 last year, and family tickets have increased from £80 to £86. Children’s tickets remain at £13 and under-fives are free.
