Now in it's third year, the business awards seeks to showcase the diverse range of talented individuals and businesses from Harrogate and the surrounding areas, with 14 finalists ultimately crowned the winners of their categories.

The quality of submissions for the 2024 awards evening made the judges' job especially difficult, with many worthy businesses and individuals shortlisted.

For the winners, an award is a chance to have their hard work and dedication recognised amongst other esteemed businesses in the district - the best of the best coming together to celebrate one another.

Simon Midgley of Starling, Winner of Business Growth 2024 explained:

We were thrilled to win the Business Growth Award at this year's Stray Ferret Business Awards. Particularly as a small independent business, to be recognised in a category with some local giants in the shortlist was amazing.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the team at Starling, who have responded so positively to the significant growth we have achieved over the past couple of years.

Sophie Giffiths, of Harvey George, Winner of the Best Use of Digital (Commercial) 2024 added:

Harvey George were thrilled to win an award in the category Best Use of Digital. It was wonderful to have the team's hard work, knowledge and dedication recognised by other people outside of the company.
