Woman accused of causing serious injury by careless driving near Pateley
A woman has been accused of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving near Pateley Bridge.
Rachel Pyrah, 44, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday (November 6) charged with two counts of the offence.
Ms Pyrah is alleged to have caused two people serious injury when she was driving along the B6265 at Fellbeck without due care and attention on May 31, 2024.
She gave no indication of plea and requested her case be transferred to a crown court.
Ms Pyrah, of High Street in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, is due to appear at York Crown Court on December 8.
