Central Harrogate has the lowest uptake of a first covid vaccine in the district, according to government figures.
Public Health England has created an interactive map showing the percentage of adults who have had a vaccine by area.
According to the map, Central Harrogate had a first dose uptake of 68% by the end of yesterday.
Dishforth, Baldersby and Markington had the next lowest figure, at 76%.

Knaresborough South and Follifoot had the highest uptake with 88% of adults receiving a first dose.
Spofforth, Burn Bridge and Huby also had a high percentage with 87%.
Overall, the Harrogate district has a first vaccination uptake of 81%.
Latest figures show 115,907 people have had a first jab and 95,768 have had a second.
Five highest first dose uptake areas:
- Knaresborough South and Follifoot – 87.7%
- Spofforth, Burn Bridge and Huby – 87.4%
- Knaresborough North – 87.2%
- Masham, Kirby Malzeard and North Stainley – 86.4%
- Pateley Bridge and Nidd Valley – 85.1%

- Harrogate Central – 68%
- Dishforth, Baldersby and Markington – 75.7%
- Harrogate East – 76.3%
- Stray – 77.9%
- Saltergate – 78.8%
Ninety-eight new covid cases have been reported in the Harrogate district today, but hospitalisations remain low.
Latest figures from Public Health England show the total number of infections since last March has increased to 8,545.
But the number of patients being treated for covid in Harrogate District Hospital is just three.
No covid-related deaths have been reported at the hospital since April 11, according to NHS England statistics.

It means the covid death toll at the hospital since last March remains at 179.
Meanwhile, the district’s seven-day covid rate stands at 175 per 100,000 people.
The North Yorkshire rate is 159 and the England average is 173.
Delta variant cases in Harrogate district quadruple in two weeksThe number of cases of the Delta variant in the Harrogate district has nearly quadrupled in the last two weeks.
According to latest Public Health England figures, 233 people tested positive for the variant in the week to June 23.
The figure is almost four times as high as it was in the week to June 9, when 61 confirmed cases were recorded.
Health managers first reported a “small number” of cases of the Delta variant were confirmed in North Yorkshire last month.

However, despite a surge in infections in recent weeks, just three people are currently being treated at Harrogate District Hospital for covid, according to the latest government data.
Daily cases of covid in the Harrogate district have reach double figures throughout June.
The graph below highlights how since the relaxation of lockdown measures on May 17 daily infections have increased. But over the same period the number of people in hospital with covid has remained low.
Additionally, no covid-related deaths have been recorded at Harrogate District Hospital since April 11, according to NHS England data.
This suggests the vaccination programme is keeping people alive and out of hospital.
A total of 211,352 vaccinations have been given across the Harrogate district. Of those, 115,764 were first doses and 95,588 were second doses.

Meanwhile, the district’s seven-day covid rate of infection has risen to 151 per 100,000 people.
The North Yorkshire average is 134 and the England rate is 147.

Harrogate district records highest covid cases since January
The Harrogate district today recorded its highest daily number of covid infections since January.
According to the latest Public Health England figures, there were 57 new cases of covid.
The number is the highest daily figure since January 19 when 63 infections were reported.

However, no covid-related deaths have been recorded at Harrogate District Hospital since April 11, according to NHS England data.
The hospital currently only has three covid patients, compared with 68 at the peak of the second wave in February.
Elsewhere, the district’s seven-day covid rate stands at 151 per 100,000 people.
The North Yorkshire average is 134 and the England rate stands at 147.
Teens set fire to abandoned farm buildings on Skipton RoadA group of teenagers is believed to have set fire to abandoned farm buildings between Killinghall and Harrogate.
Cow Dyke Farm, on Skipton Road, was targeted on June 20 at about 7.15pm.
It has been the victim of numerous arson attacks in the past.
North Yorkshire Police today issued an appeal to help find the culprits behind the latest incident.
It said in a statement:
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about any identification of people who were in that area at the time.”

Coronavirus cases continue to climb in the Harrogate district with another day where nearly 50 cases have been reported.
The seven day average for the district has risen suddenly from 103 two days ago to 133 today.
Elsewhere, the North Yorkshire rate is 111 and the England average is 128.
According to Public Health England figures, it takes the total number of infections since last March to 8,253.
However, no covid-related deaths have been confirmed at Harrogate District Hospital since April 11.
Harrogate District Hospital also has a low number of coronavirus patients. The total number, as of June 24 is three.
The death toll at the hospital since the pandemic started remains at 179.

Thirty-four more covid cases have been reported in the Harrogate district.
According to Public Health England figures, it takes the total number of infections since last March to 8,204.
The district’s seven-day covid rate currently stands at 103 case per 100,000 people.

Currently, the average stands at 103 — the first time since February 10 that it has been as high.
Elsewhere, the North Yorkshire rate is 93 and the England average is 112.
A further 39 covid cases have been confirmed in the Harrogate district today.

According to Public Health England figures, it takes the total number of infections since last March to 8,170.
The figure is another four-month high for daily cases in the district, with the last highest reported on February 1, when 51 were recorded.
However, no covid-related deaths have been confirmed at Harrogate District Hospital since April 11.

Police issue knife warning in Harrogate district schoolsPolice are urging parents to have “difficult conversations” with children after a spate of knife incidents in Harrogate district schools.
North Yorkshire Police said it was aware of five incidents of knives being brought into schools since September.
They include children flashing knives in the playground to other students.
Boys and girls had both been involved.
Officers said that, while the number of cases were high, no pupils or staff had been harmed or threatened.

Police Constable Colin Steele, from Harrogate neighbourhood policing team said:
“Not only are young people risking their life, and the lives of other students and teaching staff by carrying a knife, they are also showing a disregard for their own futures.
“Carrying a knife on school premises is a serious offence and a conviction for such an offence can stay with you for life.
“I encourage the parents and guardians of young people to have what can be a difficult conversation with their children around the dangers of carrying knives and the real implications this can have on their child’s future.”
The police praised teaching staff for identifying children carrying knives at school.
