The North Yorkshire average is 44, while the England rate is 55.
In the Harrogate district, Killinghall and Hampsthwaite is again the local area with the most covid cases in the last seven-days, with eight infections.
Harrogate East and Harrogate West and Pannal have recorded seven cases each, according to North Yorkshire County Council figures.
No further deaths from patients who tested positive for covid have been reported at Harrogate District Hospital.
Covid vaccine tally in Harrogate district hits 70,000A total of 70,138 people in the Harrogate district have received their first coronavirus vaccine, according to NHS England figures today.
The data, which covers the period until today, reveals almost 6,000 vaccines have been given in the last week.
North Yorkshire’s health officials insisted yesterday the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is safe and urged people to continue to come forward for their jabs when invited.
However, under-50s will now not be offered a vaccine during April due to supply problems.

Meanwhile, another 12 covid infections have been confirmed in the Harrogate district today by Public Health England.
The district’s seven-day covid rate stands at 39 cases per 100,000 people. The national average is 58, while the North Yorkshire rate is 48.
One more covid death confirmed at Harrogate hospitalAnother patient who had tested positive for coronavirus has died at Harrogate District Hospital, according to today’s figures from NHS England.
The death, which was registered yesterday, brings the total number of deaths at the hospital to 167 since the start of the pandemic.

It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson unveiled his roadmap out of lockdown to MPs today.
A reopening of schools on March 8, care home visits and gatherings outdoors between two households by the end of next month are included in the plan.
Meanwhile, the legal restrictions on social contact could be lifted by June 21.
Mr Johnson said the government was looking to relax restrictions “cautiously”.
The Harrogate district recorded another 17 coronavirus cases today.
There were 51 infections on 1 February but the daily total has not exceeded 36 since then and has been consistently lower still in the last week.
It takes the total number of cases since March to 7,059, according to Public Health England statistics.
The seven-day covid rate for the district stands at 98 cases per 100,000 people.

A further covid death has been reported at Harrogate District Hospital, according to today’s NHS England figures.
The death was recorded on Sunday. It takes the covid death toll at the hospital to 147.

Public Health England confirmed another 22 cases today, reducing the seven-day average rate of infection to 98.

Killinghalll and Hampsthwaite is still the sub-district with the most cases, having recorded 22 in the last seven days.

Two sub-districts — Harrogate West and Pannal and Dishthorpe, Baldersby and Markington — have not had any infections in the last seven days.

Killinghall and Hampsthwaite becomes Harrogate district’s covid hotspotKillinghall and Hampsthwaite has recorded more covid cases than anywhere else in the Harrogate district in the last seven days.
According to government figures, Killinghall and Hampsthwaite had 54 infections in the last week.
The next highest sub-district areas are Harrogate West and Pannal and Knaresborough Central, which both had 50 cases.
Across North Yorkshire as a whole, Catterick Garrison and Colburn reported the most infections with 99.

The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now 6,084.
The district’s seven-day rate of infection has increased slightly again to 322 people per 100,000. The county-wide average is 308, while the national rate stands at 478.
