A daytime disco is coming to Harrogate next month.

Disco Dayze will take place at Montey’s on Saturday, March 2 from 2pm to 6pm.

Daytime discos are growing in popularity nationally because they let guests party without sacrificing their whole weekend. They are particularly popular with an older crowd than ones that gather in town centres on Saturday nights.

Montey’s owner Jay Smith said:

“If you used to love going out on Saturday night for a dance and a cocktail but these days don’t want to be out until the early hours and ruin your Sunday, then Disco Dayze is the place for you.
"It promises to be a really fun and nostalgic day and the best part is you can party like you used to but still be home for Saturday night TV.”

The event will offer cocktails, shots and drinks from 'back in the day' and DJ Trev, formerly of legendary Harrogate club Jimmy’s, will be playing club classics from the 70s to the noughties.

The event is for over 18s but is particularly aimed at over 25s who “yearn for a good old night out with dancing” without a late night finish.

Disco Dayze will take place every first Saturday of the month. Happy hour is 2-3pm and tickets are £10 each and include a free drink from the Disco Dayze menu.
