Pitcher & Piano is returning to Harrogate — and to the John Street unit it once called home.
The bar, which is leased by Marston’s brewery, closed in November 2023 when Harewood Group, which formerly operated Viper Rooms nightclub in Harrogate, took over the site.
It was renamed The Harlow but became the town’s first Irish bar, The Four Leaf, the following March.
The Four Leaf last month announced it was set to close and the site would be taken over by Marston’s.
The brewery this morning confirmed to the Stray Ferret the pub will rebrand as Pitcher & Piano and will officially open its doors on October 22.
Jason Camilleri, area operations manager at Marston’s, said:
We’re thrilled to be bringing Pitcher & Piano back to Harrogate from Wednesday 22nd October. Guests can look forward to the signature style, vibrant atmosphere and first-class hospitality that Pitcher & Piano is known for.
We’ve got some exciting moments lined up to celebrate the reopening, including our Halloween-themed relaunch party on 31st October, complete with live performers. We can’t wait to make this a memorable launch for both our guests and the local community.
According to an Instagram page named "pitcherpianoharrogate", which only has one post and looks to be newly set up, Harrogate's Pitcher & Piano will offer cocktails, bottomless brunches and events.
Announcing The Four Leaf's closure, Paul Kinsey, director of Harewood Group, said the company had agreed heads of terms to take over The Foundry Project on The Ginnel.
